Pros

  • Highly Regulated

AvaTrade is licensed and regulated by 5 different regulatory authorities in 5 different jurisdictions.

  • Selection of Trading Platforms

AvaTrade provides a trading platform for literally every type of trader.

  • Exceptional Customer Support

The customer support is very good as clients have access to numerous helpful resources, support is available in multiple languages, and is available 24/7.

Cons

  • Fees

The spreads can be rather high for some tradeable instruments and traders need a very high quarterly trading volume in order to receive discounted spreads.

  • Trading Accounts

Traders have access to basically only one standard trading account. Also, no bonuses or promotions are offered for signing up to an account.

For over 11 years, AvaTrade has established itself as a major player in the online financial field, with a proven track record of positive customer satisfaction. Our key responsibility to offer top notch services to all our traders.

Commissions & Fees

Compared with many other online trading brokerages, AvaTrade features very favorable trading conditions by offering traders tight spreads and zero commission trading on all of their tradeable products. As well, clients can choose whether they want to trade with fixed or variable spreads. This is a huge advantage to traders as both types of spreads can be good depending on the trading style of the trader.

Fixed spreads are set at 1.9 pips for the EUR/USD currency pair, which is okay for a casual trader but rather high for an experienced active trader. Therefore, active traders can choose to trade with floating spreads starting from 0.7 pips for the EUR/USD currency pair. As for other tradeable instruments, the spreads are very reasonable and competitive with the industry standards.

One more thing to add, traders with a quarterly trading volume of $100 million or more will benefit from reduced spreads. Therefore, high net worth institutional investors are incentivised to trade with AvaTrade.
